Australia’s car seat standard (AS/NZS 1754) is pass/fail. Every seat on the market, from a $399 Britax Graphene to a$799.99 Joie Asset Spin 360, passed the same dynamic sled test. Unlike Europe (which has the independent ADAC test) or the US (NHTSA ease-of-use ratings), Australia has no public comparative safety rating system. CHOICE conducts independent testing but paywalls their results. What does differentiate safety?
